Volue is looking for a Team Lead for the “Grid Services” consultancy team

We are now looking for a Team Lead for the “Grid Services” consultancy team where you lead a team of consultants delivering software and advisory for our Power Grid Software.

The function is part of the Power Grid Consultancy management team and takes an overreaching responsibility for the Grid Service team’s performance in areas such as utilisation, customer satisfaction, consultancy deliveries, as well as employee satisfaction and talent management.

What you will be doing to make a difference:

• Coach and motivate the team to achieve excellence and support to retain team members
• Optimise the utilisation of the consulting team and its members to meet utilisation and P&L targets for the delivery organisation, the team and the consultant
• Monitor team performance metrics, provide regular feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and develop action plans to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness
• Responsible for the team’s backlog
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure service delivery
• Provide presales support to the Sales department
• Contribute valuable feedback to product management based on customer/consultant interactions
• Actively participate in customer projects as either consultant or project manager
• Foster a positive work environment for all Power Grid Consultancy resources at the office

What you need to succeed:

• You have experience in team management in Consultancy and/or IT, or genuine interest in developing yourself in this area
• You are a people person with great interpersonal skills and a coaching mindset
• You have passion for motivating and inspiring a team to deliver high-quality work, fostering a supportive and inclusive culture
• You have the ability to foster a positive work environment
• You have a customer-oriented approach
• You have a structured way of working and thinking
• You have proficient verbal and written communication skills in both a Scandinavian language and English.

The position reports to Head of Consultancy Power Grid and cooperates closely with other team leads and other functions.

We are looking to hire at Volue’s office in Trondheim or Stockholm, but another Volue office where Power Grid Consultancy is present is possible.
