Do you want to be our next Insulation Engineer?

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for several Insulation Engineers for an exciting project at Stord.
 
The project operates in 14/21 day rotation scheme.


Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
 
 
What will you be doing?

• Prepare and ensure right quality of job packages in accordance with project requirements.

• Ensure that the building method is implemented.

• Follow up and ensure that all changes are implemented in the work packages.

 
 
We think you should have:

• Theoretical knowledge and understanding of Piping & Equipment Insulation work and requirements.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or technician with relevant skills. Relevant experience may make up for formal education.

• Experience with creating work orders.

• Knowledge of applicable project documents, standards, and specifications.

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal communication.

• Good collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently.

• Strong work ethics and proactive attitude.

• Knowledge of how to use MIPS, CCS and 3D.
