Training Manager | Crew Management

We’re looking for a proactive and visionary Training Manager to lead our Learning & Development efforts and ensure our training programs remain world-class, relevant, and impactful.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire our L&D team in designing and delivering training programs aligned with customer needs, regulatory updates, and industry trends.

• Recruit, assess, and onboard top-tier instructors who uphold our commitment to excellence.

• Coordinate training delivery across classroom, online, and blended formats, working closely with support teams for seamless execution.

• Administer our regional Cadet Program, supporting career progression and compliance for future seafarers.

• Drive quality and improvement through in-house course reviews and feedback-based enhancements.

• Manage budgets and strategy, ensuring training programs are delivered efficiently, on time, and with measurable impact.

Qualifications and Personal qualities:

• Seasoned Master or Chief Engineer with a deep understanding of maritime operations.

• Experienced in maritime training, with a strong grasp of instructional design and delivery.

• Certified in Instructor’s Course and Assessor Course.

• A champion of process improvement, with a keen eye for efficiency and innovation.

• Skilled in budget planning and ideally familiar with auditing practices.

• A confident communicator who presents with credibility, clarity, and authority.

• Eager to explore new learning technologies and promote engaging, modern training approaches.
