Due to our significant growth, we are now looking to strengthen our Management Team with a;
QHSE Manager
Location; Sandefjord, Norway
Position; Full-time
The main focus for our new QHSE Manager will be to drive continuous improvement across our operations and support our department managers.
As our QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) system at Kumera Marine. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, improving processes, and supporting our different key teams.
We strongly believe that in addition to the responsibilities within QHSE, the new QHSE Manager should have active involvement in one of our operational disciplines. Therefore the position will also be involved in technical purchases supporting our Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and improve the QHSE management system in accordance with ISO- standards and company goals
Lead and support the creation, follow-up, and closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Develop, revise, and implement procedures to enhance process, product, and documentation quality
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure quality standards are met
Assist in the purchasing of gearbox components, including reviewing and interpreting technical drawings
Support internal and external audits and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications
Experience in QHSE management, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment
Familiarity with ISO standards and quality systems
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Strong communication and organizational skills
Fluent in Norwegian and English
