At Pure Salmon Technology, we work across a broad range of disciplines to develop sustainable aquaculture facilities. Electrical and Automation department plays a key role in designing and delivering electrical and automation systems for land-based fish farms in Norway and worldwide. In addition to technical development, we contribute to improving fish welfare and ensuring safe, efficient production for our clients.
Your role:
In the role as Electrical and Automation engineer, you will be designing automation systems for RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture Systems) facilities. Your work will include preparing electrical drawings, designing PLC switchboards, and general engineering tasks related to project deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare electrical and PLC drawings for switchboard production (using E3 drawing software)
General engineering tasks for the electrical and automation department
Prepare technical specifications and requisitions for purchased equipment
Develop and maintain equipment lists
Participate in commissioning and service of automation and electrical systems
Contribute to multidisciplinary projects within electrical and automation
Participate in tender processes and concept development
You can expect approximately 30-50 travel days per year, both in Norway and to our international projects, with compensation aligned with company guidelines. This position reports to the Department Manager of Electrical and Automation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher within electrical and automation engineering or similar relevant education.
Minimum B2 level in Norwegian and good English skills, both oral and written
2-3 years' experience within electrical engineering, automation, software programming, or production industries with complex technology. Technical competence can compensate for lack of experience.
