What you’ll do

• Own structural analysis and design of steel subsea structures from concept through detail and verification.

• Run FEM/FEA to prove integrity, optimize weight, and de-risk failure modes.

• Translate engineering into action: drawings, specs, calcs, reports that a fabricator can actually use.

• Collaborate tightly with mechanical, project, and manufacturing teams to deliver elegant, buildable solutions.

• Apply and defend compliance with ISO, API, NORSOK and relevant codes.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s in Structural Engineering; Master’s is a plus.

• About 5 years’ experience in steel structures. Subsea or offshore experience is a strong advantage.

• Confident with structural analysis and design tools; you know when to simplify and when to refine.

• Command of applicable standards (ISO/API/NORSOK) and how they drive real design decisions.

• Sharp problem-solving, disciplined attention to detail, and clear written and oral communication.

• English fluency; Norwegian is not a must, but a great bonus.
