Jefferson Wells is recruiting on behalf of our client for a long-term assignment with exciting opportunities in the field of control systems. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Project/Service Engineer with experience in automation and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions. 

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Plan and execute engineering activities such as hardware/software design, implementation, testing, and commissioning (onshore and offshore)
• Set up and configure control systems
• Program controllers and HMI
• Participate in service and site trips as required

Background and Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in automation, cybernetics, IT, process control, or a related field
• Solid programming and computer skills
• Experience with control systems; knowledge of platforms such as 800xA, Advant, Safeguard, or Melody is an advantage
• Background from process industries is beneficial
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken; Norwegian is an advantage
