Are you looking for a summer internship where you can make a difference?

At Laerdal Global Health, our mission is to help save lives of mothers and newborns in low-resource settings. This summer, we’re inviting two students with an interest in communications and/or marketing to join us in Stavanger for an eight-week paid internship where purpose meets impact. 

You’ll gain hands-on experience in a buzzing international environment, working alongside passionate teams committed to improving health outcomes through innovative solutions. It’s a unique opportunity to explore our way of working, our culture, and contribute to projects that matter. The program lasts for eight weeks, from June to August, in Stavanger. 
 
What you will be doing 
As an intern at Laerdal Global Health, you’ll support a range of marketing and communication activities that contribute directly to our mission. This hands-on experience will give you valuable industry insights and help shape your future career. 

Examples of tasks include: 

• Generating ideas and creating content for social media, using platforms like Canva – including graphics, animations and video. 

• Developing marketing materials, including identifying target audiences, copywriting, image selection and more. 

• Drafting content and ideas for the LGH website, including news articles, interviews and reports. 

• Supporting preparations for conferences and key events 

• Supporting in the organization of communications and marketing platforms, databases and filing systems. 

• Assisting with digital marketing campaigns across LGH websites and social media. 

• Collaborating on country-specific and co-branded materials with LGH Country Representatives, distributors, and partners. 

Who we envision would fit this role 

• You’re currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications, marketing, media studies, global health, or a related field. 

• You’re passionate about making a difference and inspired by our mission to help save the lives of mothers and newborns in low-resource settings. 

• You thrive in dynamic environments, take initiative, and enjoy contributing ideas to real-world projects. 

• You’re familiar with social media platforms and have some experience with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud, and maybe even content management systems. 

• You communicate clearly and confidently, with strong writing skills and proficiency in English. 

• It’s also a plus if you have an interest in product marketing and digital marketing!
