Senior Piping Engineer Design and Layout (BH-314980)

Contract period: ASAP - 2 years duration
Location: Stavanger, Oslo, Sandefjord, Bergen or Herøya 

Main tasks:

• Job setting (fabrication and installation work packages) and follow-up of prefabrication and installation activities within the discipline.

• Responsible for deliveries within the piping discipline in offers, studies and implementation projects.

• Estimating piping scope of work in projects.

• Prepare technical solutions for the piping and layout discipline and deliver technical documentation according to customer requirements and specifications.

• Independently model piping in AVEVA E3D and generate drawing documentation and MTO.

• Requisition and coordination of surveying.

• Coordinate and act as professional lead in projects when needed.

• Interaction and coordination with other disciplines internally in the project and with the customer.

• Checker (isometric spool drawing and pipe support drawing) and other piping related technical documents.

 
Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor or master

• Min. 5 years of relevant experience from modification projects.

• Experience from working independently in multidisciplinary studies and modification projects with responsibility for piping deliveries.

• Solid knowledge in piping design and use of AVEVA E3D 3D modelling tools.

• Experience and practical knowledge of piping installation methods. 

• Experience in job setting (preparation) of fabrication and Installation work packages.

• Extensive experience as checker for isometric and pipe support drawing and technical piping documentation.

• Understanding of and experience with coordinating interfaces internally in the discipline between layout, pipe stress and pipe support.

• Advantage with experience from offshore experience from surveys etc.

• Advantage with experience with specification and procurement of manual valves. 

• Advantage with knowledge of pipe support standards and design in AVEVA E3D.

• Norwegian (Writing and Speaking Mandatory), Also able to write and speak in English.

• MS Office, AVEVA E3D design & draft, NAVISMODEL.

• Microstation, AutoCAD, STID, Procosys, SAP, ARIS is preferable.

• Offshore certificate is an advantage but not a requirement.
