Arbeidsoppgaver

• The Loop Test Technician is responsible for performing loop checks and functional testing of instrumentation and control systems to ensure proper installation and operation. This role supports commissioning activities and works closely with construction/MC, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform loop checks from field instruments to control systems.
• Verify wiring, signal continuity, and proper calibration of instruments.
• Document test results and report any discrepancies or faults.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with commissioning and QA/QC teams during system startup.

Ønskede kvalifikasjoner

• Technical diploma or certificate in Instrumentation, Electrical, or related field.
• Experience in loop testing and instrumentation commissioning.
• Familiarity with control systems (PLC/DCS), field devices, and test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
