The opportunity

As a Senior Embedded Software Developer at Easee, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining embedded software for both our existing and upcoming products. You will not only contribute with your technical expertise but also with your ability to mentor others, improve processes, and influence architecture decisions that shape the future of our EV chargers.
Working closely in cross-functional teams with Electronics, Cloud, Manufacturing & Test, and Product, you will ensure that our solutions are reliable, scalable, and customer-centric. This role is an opportunity to both dive deep into complex embedded systems and help drive Easee's mission of making electrification effortless.
With your expertise, you will directly impact the performance of our products and help us expand further into international markets.
 

What you'll be doing
As a Senior Embedded Software Developer at Easee, you'll be at the heart of our technology. You'll design and maintain embedded software in C/C++ for our product portfolio, making sure our solutions are robust, scalable, and ready for the future. You'll help shape well-structured releases, refine team processes, and play an active role in architecture discussions and engineering planning.

Collaboration is key: you'll work closely with colleagues across Product, Customer Excellence, and other teams to bring forward new ideas and improvements. You'll share knowledge, mentor junior developers, and strengthen the team's expertise through training and guidance. Most importantly, you'll bring your own ideas to the table ? driving improvements that make both our products and our ways of working even better.

Who we're looking for
You're a team player with strong embedded systems expertise and solid programming skills in C/C++. You're curious, solution-driven, and eager to explore new technologies while truly understanding customer needs. Challenges inspire you rather than discourage you, and you enjoy sharing your knowledge, mentoring others, and contributing to the growth of your team.

You bring a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field ? or equivalent hands-on experience. Proven experience with embedded Linux and Git-based version control is a big bonus.
Fluent English is required, while Norwegian is an advantage.
