We are seeking an experienced, analytical and ambitious Business Controller who has solid experience in budgeting, financial modelling, planning and reporting. The position will play a critical role in the financial operations of Esgian.

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and strategic financial planning and work closely with the management team.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Responsible for the financial modelling

• Participate in preparation of long-term forecast and resource allocation

• Develop and report business KPI’s

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to management

• Prepare and monitor budget and forecast

• Provide insights and analyses and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency

• Assess and improve internal control systems 

• Cash management

As a person, we believe you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are able to work independently and capable of driving changes and improvement initiatives. Furthermore, you have a strong business acumen and good collaboration and communication skills. You also have the ability to draw conclusions from complex datasets and a passion to succeed in developing and growing the business.

We believe this is the right role for you if you have:

• Master's degree in economics/finance with 3-5 years of relevant experience from auditing and/or similar role

• A background from the industry or experience from one of the major auditing firms

• Solid experience with Excel and ERP systems  

• Solid understanding and knowledge of accounting principles and standards, including IFRS

• Excellent command of English both written and oral
