Laboratory technician

Skretting AI is seeking two (2) Laboratory Technicians for temporary assignments until 31 October 2026, to join our laboratory team in Stavanger, Norway.

In this role, you will collaborate with skilled laboratory technicians and specialists, analyzing a variety of samples to deliver precise and reliable results.

Your responsibilities

• Perform sample analyses following established procedures.

• Operate and perform minor troubleshooting of analytical instruments.

• Approve analytical data and manage results using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

• Identify and report non-conformities and suggest improvements to ensure compliance with ISO 17025:2017 standards.

• Support the team with daily laboratory tasks.

What are we looking for:

• A laboratory certificate, or a BSc/MSc in analytical chemistry, biological chemistry, or a related field.

• Prior experience in laboratory settings is an advantage but not a requirement.

• Strong technical and computer skills.

• Personal qualifications:

• Effective communicator, fluent in both Norwegian and English.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to take initiative.

• Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.

• Systematic in your approach to work.
