We are expanding our Human Resource Management system team! Currently we are looking for three new HRMS Solution Architects with an interest in emerging trends and technologies within the HR field to join us. As HRMS Solution Architect, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and continuously improving Jotun’s HRMS platform (Workday). This is a hands-on position where you will make use of your expertise in HRMS architecture, configuration, and integration to partner with HR leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure that our HRMS ecosystem remains secure, robust and developed in harmony with current and coming business needs.

The position is in Group IT at our head office in Sandefjord, Norway, but locating the position at one of our company hubs abroad could also be considered for the right candidate. 

Your Responsibilities

Design and Governance

• Translate business requirements into robust HRMS solutions.

• Champion best practices in system governance, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.

Optimization and Innovation

• Identify opportunities to streamline operations through automation and process improvements.

• Stay ahead of emerging HR technology trends to deliver forward-thinking solutions.

Collaboration and Leadership

• Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless integration.

• Collaborate and foster knowledge-sharing across regions and functions.

Transformation and Enablement

• Support HR transformation initiatives to promote unified ways of working.

• Provide stakeholders with timely, accurate, and actionable HR data.

Continuous Learning and Knowledge Sharing

• Share best practices and insights to build internal competence.

• Engage with external networks and professional bodies to bring fresh perspectives to the organization.

What We Look For

Formal Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or an HR degree with strong interest in technology – relevant work experience can make up for this requirement.

• Experience with, and deep understanding of, HR processes and system architecture, configuration, and integration with Workday or similar HRMS platforms

• Proven ability to design, implement, test and maintain secure, scalable HRMS solutions aligned with organizational objectives

• Commitment to maintaining best practices for system governance, data quality, and compliance

• A mindset focused on process improvement, innovation, and automation

• Continuous focus on keeping you up to date on emerging HR technology trends

• Fluent English skills both written and spoken
