Group Financial Controller

Are you passionate about accounting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with complex standards across jurisdictions?

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Group Accountant to take ownership of group consolidation and reporting processes. In this role, you will play a key part in securing high-quality financial data, applying IFRS and local GAAP standards, and supporting accurate, timely reporting across multiple entities.

About the role:

• Consolidation and preparation of Schibsted Media’s external reports and Annual Report
• Support finance personnel in subsidiaries with solving accounting issues and closely collaborate with other related departments
• Preparation of accounting memos and ensure IFRS compliance
• Drive improvement and efficiencies
• Support Head of Financial Controlling & Group Accounting with overall improvement initiatives

What we're looking for:

Skills & experience:

• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and strong understanding of accounting standards under local legislation (e.g., NGAAP and SGAAP)
• Significant hands-on experience with group consolidation processes, including multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
• Significant operational experience with the consolidation process
• Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., ERP systems such as D365, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills; experience with consolidation tools is a strong plus.
