About the role
The Sales Advisor plays an important role in welcoming and guiding guests in our store. You help them discover our products, share our values, and make sure every visit feels personal and memorable. As an ambassador of the guest experience, you lead by example with professionalism and support the team in reaching commercial goals.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be motivated by sales targets, dedicated to providing elevated and memorable experiences in a store setting through warm and empathic communication, and interested in educating guests about jewellery and our responsible practices.
The Sales Advisor role is a 40% position in our Tom Wood Flagship Store, located at Øvre Slottsgate 8 in Oslo.
Key responsibilities
Deliver exceptional service that builds long-term customer loyalty and promotes future sales opportunities
Ensure the Tom Wood service standards are consistently upheld
Work towards individual and store sales goals with drive and commitment
Hold exemplary product and brand knowledge, supporting to educate guests on material choices, care, repairs, and customisation options
Play and active role in clienteling initiatives, private appointments, and VIP event invitations
Support in-store leadership with smooth store operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and health & safety regulations
Maintain an impeccable store environment, including Visual Merchandising and back of house
Support stock management, replenishment, and stock takes
Suggest and collaborate on promotional activities and in-store events
Foster a respectful, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture
We are looking for someone who
Experience in a commercial sales environment, working towards specific commercial goals
Curiosity to listen to diverse perspectives and confidence to assist guests make decisions
Experience with clienteling and CRM
Previous experience with jewellery, luxury fashion or premium fragrance & beauty is a bonus, or high-end hospitality
Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language is essential
Additional knowledge of Mandarin or Japanese is a plus, but not a requirement

Available to work in a store setting, standing for extended periods of time
Available to work weekends and holidays
