Engineering Manager

Interwell is looking for an Engineering Manager to head the Intervention Businessline’s cross-functional engineering teams, covering electronics, software, mechanical engineering, and product support. In this role, you will drive our technical roadmap, manage development projects, and oversee our R&D Workshop, Test Center, and Electronics Lab. You will play a key part in shaping the future of our solutions, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Main Activities & Responsibilities

• Drive technical roadmap and development projects in accordance with priorities given by SVP Intervention

• Lead development projects in line with Interwell processes.

• Establish, develop, and maintain design process and product management procedures for setting tools, pulling tools and add-ons, across mechanical, electronics, and software disciplines.

• Oversee and prioritize activities within the R&D Workshop, Test Center, and Electronics Lab.

• Ensure validation of new products meets both Interwell’s and customers’ requirements.

• Manage product group and facilitate effective product handover and support to other departments.

• Support continuous improvement of products and processes.

Experience, Qualifications and Skills

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills

• Relevant Bachelor or Master

• Fluent Norwegian – oral and written

• Fluent English – oral and written
