Are you ready to take on a key leadership role in a fast-paced international business? Crawford & Company is seeking an experienced Finance Director Nordics to drive financial excellence, compliance, and growth across the Nordic region.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and local Nordic regulations.

• Lead month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and accurate group reporting.

• Strengthen internal controls (SOX) and manage audits in close cooperation with EY.

• Provide financial insight and strategic support to the Nordic Management Team.

• Manage treasury, cash flow, and working capital to optimize financial performance.

• Oversee statutory and tax compliance, supported by external advisors.

• Build, lead, and develop the Nordic Finance Team.

Candidate profile and background

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/CA or equivalent is a plus.

• 10+ years of senior-level finance leadership, ideally with Big 4 background and listed-company experience.

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and Nordic statutory requirements.

• Proven expertise in treasury, tax, and working capital management.

• Skilled in driving process improvements and leveraging financial IT systems.

• Strong communicator with the ability to influence and build trust across stakeholders.

• Fluent in Business English and good communication skills in Norwegian
