We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our ambitious team!

Job Description:

• Be the single point of contact for any commercial discussions with suppliers.

• Identify, manage, and review procurement strategies for any specific procurement objectives, ensuring that our expectations and needs are routinely addressed and exceeded

• Plan and implement the defined strategies in close cooperation with the Engineering department, Assembly & Test-Team, Global Sales Team and Project department

• Execute procurement activities according to prevailing regulations, policies, plans and agreements

• Be responsible for establishing the form of contract.

• Search for- and evaluate alternative suppliers of equipment, materials, and services

• Close cooperation with PRE, fabrication coordinator, HSEQ, cost control and other internal stakeholders.

• Process purchase requisitions released and authorized from engineering

• Follow up procurement reporting and ensure a clear formal audit trail

• Coordinate supplier quality surveillance

• Process VORs from suppliers, controlling risk, interface, budget, reporting and approvals

• Handle other tasks as relevant and as delegated by Project managers and Project procurement managers

• Responsible for close out of the procurement package including final account and experience transfer/lessons learned activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree within Supply Chain Management or

  other relevant commercial or technical education  

• Preferably background from the Oil & Gas, Shipping/maritime industry and sustainable energy sector such as Offshore Wind.

• Proven skills in successfully developing executive level relationship with suppliers.

• Strong mindset for integrity and inclusive culture, fostering a speak-up culture.

• Highly organized and able to handle complex procurement engagements including negotiations and good understanding of the value creation that the supply chain generates.

• Solid experience working with budget & performance management.

• Experience working with strategy & strategy implementation in the field of strategic procurement.

•  Solid communication skills, and English at a high level.
