ABG Sundal Collier (ABGSC) is entering a pivotal technological shift as we design and implement a new enterprise cloud platform in Microsoft Azure. Our vision is to deliver a robust, scalable, and secure environment that enhances visibility, optimizes costs and meets the evolving needs of a highly regulated financial industry. As our Cloud & Infrastructure Architect, you will shape the architecture, lead the migration from on-premises to cloud, and define governance standards that ensure security and compliance across our organization.

To succeed, we are looking for a Cloud & Infrastructure Architect with strong technical expertise and the ability to see the bigger picture. You will play a key role in designing and implementing our enterprise landing zone in Azure and lead the modernization of our infrastructure in the cloud. Given the regulatory nature of our industry, we are seeking someone with experience in compliance and documentation - someone who knows how to build secure and auditable solutions.

This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who is motivated by building something new that will have a significant impact across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a secure and scalable Azure architecture
• Lead migration from on-premises to cloud, including SQL Server and legacy systems
• Ensure governance, cost control, and security across the Azure environment
• Collaborate closely with IT operations and DevOps teams for a smooth transition
• Document solutions and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Who You Are
We are looking for someone with solid experience in establishing and evolving Azure enterprise landing zones, including subscription design and governance tooling. You have strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using tools like Terraform or Bicep, and deep knowledge of networking, identity management, and cost optimization in the cloud. You work strategically and methodically and communicate well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You thrive in complex, hybrid IT environments and know how to bridge the gap between traditional IT and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education in IT/technology
• Proven experience leading or playing a central role in building enterprise Azure environments
• Experience from industries with regulatory requirements, ideally in financial services, banking or similarly regulated industries, is a strong advantage
