At Santander we are focusing on enhancing our leasing capabilities and driving growth. We are therefore exited to announce a new position: Remarketing (Pricing & Channel Steering) Specialist

In this role, you’ll be in charge of used cars pricing, residual value setting advise and support, optimal sales channel allocations and Remarketing stock management with the aim of maximizing the economic result of the Unit.

You will be part of our existing remarketing team within the Collection function of the bank. The team has great knowledge in the remarketing area and market, and your expertise in the leasing product will bring valuable competence that enhances our overall strategy for the leasing product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage used cars pricing.
• Create structures and rules for the decision of sales channels based on vehicle types
• Monitor used cars stocks and decide and propose actions to be taken.
• Analyze used car market information, share relevant data within the organization and define proposals.
• Support residual value setting and regular assessment, by providing with relevant information about sales prices performance and market behaviour.
• Facilitate and drive solutions across the organization that align with the corporate strategy.
• Push for new ideas and initiatives implementation, with a clear view of market trends, alternative scenarios and possibilities.
• Implementation and integration of tools and system for evaluation of used cars.

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a real expert in used car pricing, highly familiarized with Remarketing sales activities, automotive enthusiastic, with an analytic profile and good communication skills.

Experience and Competence:

• Degree in Economics / Business Administration / Engineering/ or equivalent experience
• Business oriented expert with at least 3 years at used car pricing / residual value functions
• Familiarized with statistic models
• Good knowledge about international used car market
• Strong written and spoken English and one Nordic language
