About the Position
As R&D Manager, you will be responsible for both improving our existing product portfolio and developing new products. As a member of the management team, you will contribute to SERO’s strategic direction and continued growth. The position is located in Billingstad, Norway, close to Oslo.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead an R&D team of four researchers, including personnel responsibility

• Design and manage the research and development strategy

• Prioritize and follow up on product ideas and the development pipeline

• Manage product development from concept to launch, with a focus on quality and timelines

• Collaborate effectively with the commercial team

What Are We Looking For?

• Master’s degree in natural sciences, biomedicine, biochemistry, or a medical degree (MD)

• PhD or specialization in medical biochemistry (clinical chemistry), or documented experience from a medical laboratory

• At least 3 years of relevant professional and leadership experience

• Strong language skills in English (minimum C1 level)

• Good language skills in Norwegian (minimum B1 level) or prepared to learn in a short time

• Experience in IVD product development is a major advantage

• Experience with certified quality systems such as ISO 13485 is beneficial
