MC Engineer / Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced MC Engineer / Coordinator to oversee the mechanical completion phase of a major project. You will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and ensuring the timely and documented completion of all related activities, facilitating a smooth transition to the commissioning stage. 

Responsibilities

* Plan, coordinate, and follow up on Mechanical Completion (MC) activities according to the project schedule and system structure.
* Coordinate on-site mechanical completion processes, with a focus on Electrical and HVAC systems.
* Ensure MC packages are completed, fully documented, and delivered in compliance with project requirements.
* Collaborate closely with the commissioning team to ensure a seamless handover from MC to commissioning.
* Contribute to the development, maintenance, and use of MC processes and procedures in PIMS or equivalent completion systems. 

Required expertise

* Technical college or engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, automation, or a similar technical field.
* A minimum of 5-10 years of experience from MC work in oil and gas projects, preferably with offshore or Power from Shore experience.
* Experience with MC processes, project coordination, and the use of completion tools like PIMS.
* Solid understanding of multidisciplinary work, system-oriented completion, and relevant standards (NORSOK, ATEX, IEC, etc.).
* Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective team coordination.
* Familiarity with the PIMS system is considered an advantage.
