Solwr Robotics develops innovative robots to solve logistics challenges in the trade industry. We currently have two products in the market:

• Grab - an autonomous pick-and-place robot for warehouse operations.

• Sort - a high-speed, low-space pallet sorting machine.

We are looking for a robotic automation engineer to carry out the following tasks together with development and delivery teams:

• Design and develop robust and scalable PLC code for our robotics solutions

• Design and develop HMI solutions for operator interfaces

• Develop new automation solution for our robots

• Maintain and troubleshoot existing PLC programs and robotic solutions

• Test new feature and help debug/improve them

• Support customer and debug/analysis issues

• Support commissioning, testing, and debugging of our Robotics Solutions

• Drive technical decisions and mentor junior engineers if needed
  

The position is based at our Ålesund office but will require some travel to customer sites

You are meant for this job if you have one of more of the following:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in Automation, Software or Robotics, or equivalent experience

• Have 3 + years of experience with software development on PLC, incl. structured text

• Have experience with motors, sensors and robots

• Must be fluent in both Norwegian and English, (spoken).

• Enjoy working with robots, technologies and customers
