Our Control Systems department is expanding, and we're looking for a skilled Software Developer to join the team.

Your responsibilities will include:

-        Designing and maintenance of control system software components

-        Programming and maintenance of subsea software

-        Developing HMI / GUI

-        Testing units and systems

-        Provide support to internal and external stakeholders

We are looking for candidates with:

-        BSc. or MSc. in software development or related field

-        Strong programming skills in Python, C++ and Bash

-        Familiar with communication protocols such as CANbus, Modbus, Mqtt, Tcp, Udp

-        Familiar with GUI development (Qt Widgets, Qt QML, SCADA)

-        Experience with database systems (SQL, MongoDb)

-        Comfortable using Git for version control

-        Experience with Linux systems

-        Understanding of electronic circuits, sensor technology or microcontrollers

-        A team player

-        A hands-on, practical mindset is a plus

-        Problem solving skills

-        Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English (written and spoken)
