As our company expands, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to our continued success.

Your responsibilities will include:

-        Perform concept and detail design – apply creativity and innovation to develop new ideas and concepts, taking projects from initial vision to complete design 

-        Prepare drawings and engineering documentation in accordance with KF internal guidelines and relevant standards  

-        Prepare and hold Design Reviews for products and components as required 

-        Provide engineering support to internal and external stakeholders 

-        Support assembly and testing of equipment at sub-suppliers and KF workshops 

We are looking for candidates with:

-        Creative and innovative mindset 

-        Self-disciplined and self-motivated

-        Team player

-        Master or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

-        Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD systems

-        Experience from the oil and gas industry is preferred, but not a necessity

-        Practical, hands-on experience is an advantage

-        Excellent Norwegian and English communication skills - written and oral
