As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Commissioning and Electrical Technicians to join the Jackdaw project in Verdal.
We are seeking candidates who can start as soon as possible. The position follows a 14/14 rotation (night) and plays a key role in the completion of this exciting offshore project, which has a short time frame. 

We are looking for several roles, including:

• Foremen / Senior Technicians

• Commissioning Engineers

• Electrical Technicians

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

• Monitor and manage the project completion system

• Coordinate and carry out system walkdowns

• Plan, prepare, and perform commissioning activities on assigned systems

• Ensure quality handover of completed systems to the customer

We think you should have:

• Preferably a trade certificate or relevant technical education

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Hands-on experience with completion and commissioning

• A performance-driven and proactive mindset

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

• Ability to manage and follow through on tasks independently

• Good communication skills in English
