Global Sales Operations is expanding the Sales Support Team for Marine Systems 

We are looking for a Global Solutions Manager, Business Line (BL) Marine Systems, Marine & Ports Division. You will be responsible for supporting the sales organization and customers in determining the most optimized technical cost-effective Energy Storage Solutions. The role will be part of the Global Sales Operations team.   

Your responsibilities

• Serve as a key technical resource for battery system design, battery dimensioning and relevant Marine class battery notations

• Ensure optimized technical solution/scope in the early opportunity/RFQ phase

• Provide support during technical meetings and presentations

• Prepare technical descriptions of the applied products and technology to support the proposal process

• Drive collaboration with relevant stakeholders in Product Management, SCM and R&D

• Deliver consistent, high quality, accurate and timely communication and documentation

• Refining of existing, development and implementation of tools and design guides to enable biddings teams to compile the optimal offering

• Collect, analyze, and evaluate information and data about customer needs, technologies, suppliers and competitors

• Identify potential risks in the bids, quotations and estimates, and in any related contract agreements across customers

• Provide product/solution related internal and external training

Your qualifications

• A B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in electrical, electrochemical, or control engineering. Alternatively, relevant experience can be considered.

• Experienced in Battery Systems within marine market or similar

• Result oriented and able to work as part of a team and as an individual

• Self-driven personality

• Ability to work on a multicultural environment

• Location in EU Country is an advantage

• At least 5 years’ experience

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
