Sales Development & Support – Industrial Drone Tech with Global Reach
Do you want to work with technology that makes industrial inspections safer and smarter, while owning the sales dialogue from our HQ in Trondheim?
ScoutDI is a Norwegian technology company developing an autonomous drone and cloud-based platform for safe and efficient inspection of large industrial structures. Our system enables inspection of tanks, silos and cargo holds without putting people at risk, and delivers instant digital documentation and insights.
The technology is already in use by leading industrial customers worldwide, across sectors like offshore and onshore energy, maritime and shipping, and other heavy industries.
As an Inside Sales Representative based in Trondheim, you will be a key contributor to our international B2B sales team. Often the first point of contact for potential customers, you will play a central role in shaping the sales dialogue and building trust — from initial lead to signed agreement.
About the Role
In this role, you will help drive customer success from first contact to signed agreement, while supporting broader sales efforts across the company. You will take ownership of inbound leads from our website, campaigns and partners, and guide them through the sales process — from initial dialogue to closing.
You will present the solution in digital meetings, advise prospects on how it fits their needs, and build trust along the way. For larger or more complex opportunities, you will collaborate closely with senior sales colleagues.
You will also contribute to outbound activities by supporting strategic sales with lead research, meeting booking and early-stage engagement. This is a varied and hands-on role, offering real commercial exposure and growth potential — in a company with short decision paths and high momentum.
Key Responsibilities
Follow up and qualify inbound customer inquiries
Manage your own sales dialogues from needs assessment to closing
Present the solution in digital meetings and help build customer trust
Maintain structure and progress in our CRM and sales pipeline
Communicate clearly with customers and partners around the world, both written and verbal
Support strategic sales activities with research, preparation and meeting coordination
Who You Are
Structured, proactive and motivated by achieving results
Confident in customer dialogues and able to communicate value clearly
Fluent in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken
Curious about technology and quick to learn new tools and concepts
Ambitious about developing a career in sales, customer success or commercial roles
Additional language skills such as Spanish, French, German or Portuguese are a strong advantage
Experience with CRM systems, sales or customer contact is a plus but mindset and motivation matter most
