At Cleanworld AS, we are at an exciting stage of growth and are looking for a talented Backoffice Operations Specialist to join our Oslo office for a year with potential to permanent employment!
Cleanworld is a leading independent brokerage firm, specializing in brokering environmental commodities and renewable energy. With twenty-three professionals across offices in Oslo, Sandefjord, Hamburg and Madrid, we facilitate transactions that drive the energy transition. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our brokers and management team, ensuring smooth workflows and top-notch client satisfaction. Your contributions will focus on daily operations and process optimization, making this a pivotal role in our organization.
For our back-office team, we are looking for a back-office specialist to manage daily operations and deliver seamless support to our brokers, ensuring the front office executes transactions smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Daily operations
Backoffice management: Oversee daily back-office tasks, including processing trade confirmations, invoicing, handling KYC requests, and ensuring accurate follow-ups on trades and outstanding receivables. Responsible for incoming and outgoing request via our Backoffice email.
Trade support: Collaborate with brokers to ensure timely and precise processing of trade confirmations and interactions with counterparties.
Invoice processing: Maintain accuracy and compliance in all invoicing workflows, work close and effectively with our external accounting team
Process optimization
Drive operational efficiency: Help us to organize the back-office work flows more efficiently.
Cross-team collaboration: Support teamwork across departments and geographies, fostering a culture of inclusivity and shared success.
What we are looking for
An organized, diligent and forward-thinking individual who thrives in a multicultural environment. To excel in this role, you will need:
Professional expertise: Minimum 3 years of experience in controlling, accounting, back-office operations, or otherwise relevant role.
Educational background: A university degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
System proficiency: Direct experience with CRM systems, preferably Microsoft D365 Sales module and a strong grasp of MS Office tools.
Technical proficiency: Affinity or prior experience with VBA.
Communication skills: Fluency in English, with the ability to adapt communication styles for diverse audiences.
Adaptability: A results-driven mindset, capable of navigating change with ease.
Team spirit: A collaborative approach and ability to work in an international, inclusive environment.
