Build brand engagement and digital presence for Ekornes across global markets
We are seeking a creative and experienced Community & Social Media Manager to build brand engagement and awareness and drive sales across markets. You will be joining Ekornes – the home of some of the Nordic region’s most icon brands Stressless®, Svane® and IMG. With global operations and a proud heritage dating back to 1934, we combine Scandinavian craftsmanship and forward-thinking innovation to create furniture that improves everyday living.
As Community & Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for strengthening Ekornes’ direct-to-consumer engagement through digital storytelling, social media campaigns and influencer relations. You will create compelling content, manage our global social media presence and drive engagement across channels and communities – while ensuring our brand voice remains clear, consistent and human. This is a key role in building visibility, trust and relevance with new and existing audiences across markets.
As Community & Social Media Manager at Ekornes, you will:
develop and execute global social media strategies across platforms to grow brand awareness, engagement and traffic
curate, create and manage content in line with brand voice and visual identity
engage actively with our online community and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional tone
manage influencer, KOL and ambassador collaborations, including agreements and performance follow-up
collaborate with designers, regional teams and product development to create behind-the-scenes stories and product narratives
support promotional activities, events and campaigns in collaboration with digital and commercial teams
plan and coordinate full funnel paid campaigns together with internal marketing teams and external partners
lead the internal workflow across regions for SoMe planning tools (g. Falcon, Canva, Adobe) and editorial calendars
work closely with the performance team to analyse and optimise SoMe performance and engagement metrics
We are seeking a digitally fluent, curious and collaborative communicator with a passion for brand storytelling and audience engagement. You bring experience in social media management, influencer collaboration and content development. You are structured, visually sharp, and comfortable managing processes across teams and countries. Your background includes a relevant degree in marketing, communications or a related field, and you are fluent in English – both written and spoken.
You will report to the Brand and Communications Director and be part of the global marketing organisation. The role is based in Oslo or Ålesund/Sykkylven.
