Automation/Mechanical Technician

We are seeking an Automation/Mechanical Technician to join our team. The purpose of this role is to participate in all activities related to the workshop. We encourage candidates with qualifications in automation or mechanical to apply.

Main activities & responsibilities:

• Perform assembly and pressure testing of Interwell products

• Carry out configuration and calibration tasks

• Conduct maintenance, service, and necessary repairs on Interwell products

• Complete and submit all required paperwork and reporting accurately and timely

• Assist engineering with developing new products when required

• Main product line for this position will be VR Sensor and other product lines when required

• Assist the warehouse when required

• Contribute to continual improvement of routines

• Participate in production and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in the workshop

• Training of new personnel

• Perform first and second stage inspection of parts delivered to Interwell

Requirements:

• A certificate of apprenticeship in industrial mechanics, industrial fitting, or automation (fagbrev som industrimontør/industrimekaniker/automatiker) is preferred, but relevant work experience may compensate for this

• Background in technical, engineering, or craft environments is preferred

• Experience from the oil and gas industry is an advantage

• Strong skills in automation or mechanical systems

• Able to read and understand technical drawings

• Able to identify and use technical tools and instruments

• Proficiency in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken

• Good IT skills
