UX Researcher and Designer

Are you a UX professional who wants to make complex technology more understandable and usable — in one of the leading information security companies in the Nordics?

We are looking for a UX Researcher and Designer to strengthen the user experience of our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service. You’ll play a central role in ensuring that our security products are usable, understandable, and valuable — not just functional.

This is a hands-on and strategic role, where you will bring user needs into the heart of development and help raise UX maturity across the organisation.

You will be working with

As a UX Researcher and Designer in mnemonic, you will be part of a dedicated UX team working across a range of internal projects and domains. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, project managers and security analysts.  

You will:

• Plan and conduct user research to identify needs, problems, and opportunities

• Translate insight into design solutions — from early concepts to prototypes

• Contribute to projects from exploration to post-launch follow-up

• Communicate user needs to stakeholders and decision-makers

• Support teams in using UX methods, even when UX is not directly involved

• Evolve and maintain our design system for consistency across products

What you will bring

We believe you:

• Have experience with UX in product or system development

• Know how to choose and apply appropriate research methods

• Communicate well and tailor your message to different audiences

• Work well independently and collaboratively across disciplines

• Are motivated to work in a security-focused environment with in-house products

• Have an interest in design systems and consistent design practices

Experience with complex systems, research projects, or security products is a plus — but not required.
