Duties and responsibilities  

As a consultant in Gexcon you will be part of a team working on interesting and challenging studies for local and global clients. Key responsibilities are:  

• Work with clients to understand their challenges  

• Manage and participate in projects  

• Learn and use our advanced consequence and risk modelling tools  

• Develop and share competence with colleagues and clients  

• Market and sell our services  

Some travelling can be expected. 

Qualifications  

You should have a higher education in engineering, technology, science or risk management, with strong academic records, and the ability to combine your theoretical knowledge with practical application. As the use of advanced modelling tools is part of the work, a solid data technical basis is also helpful.  

Work experience with our services or from a relevant industry is a plus, but not a requirement. Both recent graduates and candidates with experience are encouraged to apply.  

Personal qualities  

We work in teams and with clients, so good cooperation and interpersonal skills are vital. We share our knowledge internally and externally, so communication skills, written and spoken, are important (preferably both English and Norwegian). Likewise, the ability and confidence to facilitate meetings and workshops is a key skill.
