Seasonal Kitchen Assistant at Kaffebakeriet

Position: Seasonal 100% (July – September)

Work Hours:

• Weekdays: 3:00 AM – 11:00 AM

• Saturdays: 2:00 AM – 10:00 AM

• Sundays: 2:30 AM – 10:30 AM

• 5 days per week (37.5 hours)

Kaffebakeriet is an esteemed bakery, patisserie, and chocolaterie in the heart of Oslo, renowned for crafting exceptional, high-quality baked goods, pastries, and confections. Operating from its state-of-the-art facility, it proudly supplies Kaffebrenneriet’s coffee shops throughout Oslo and beyond with artisanal products made from premium ingredients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sandwich production and delivery organization - Make sandwiches and pack items and organize orders ready for delivery.

• Production of quiche, yoghurt and cold porridge.

• Preparing ingredients and recipes for the next day’s production.

• Quality control - Ensure that all items are made to the required standard and any deviations are handled accordingly.

• IK-MAT - Ensure that internal control routines are followed and documented in the appropriate format.

• Cleaning - Conduct cleaning tasks as required.

• During quieter periods other bakery tasks will be conducted such as applying stickers to packaging, preparing ingredients etc. 

Requirements:

• Read, write and communicate effectively in English

• Computer literacy -- A web system is used for packing and production

• Previous kitchen experience is an advantage
