Battery cell production is a highly technical process in three parts: electrode production, cell assembly, and formation. Each stage is critical to make high-performing batteries that meets industry standards.

2025 will be a pivotal one for Morrow as we transition from scale-up mode to full-scale production. We are now seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our team at the Morrow Cell Factory.

As a Machine Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining machinery while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. Some areas oversee production processes from the control room, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly, responding to any alarms or issues detected and coordinating and communication across teams to resolve real time problems.

Role: Machine Operator – Electrode Manufacturing, Cell Assembly, Material Handling & Formation

Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Operating our cutting-edge industrial machines following meticulously crafted Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring not only productivity but utmost safety.
• Being the guardian of smooth production by promptly addressing any process interruptions, all while following our Standard Work Instructions.
• Identifying deviations and maintaining our state-of-the-art equipment to guarantee optimal performance and efficiency.
• Collaborating with precision, using production diagrams, patterns, and specialized tools for adjustments that contribute to our quest for cleaner energy solutions.
• Upholding our company's core values and policies, with an unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and top-notch performance.
• Embracing the challenge of working in controlled environments like clean rooms and dry rooms, all while wearing the latest protective gear.

• Vocational school or certification in relevant field.
• If you have experience with industrial equipment and PLC operation, it's a definite advantage.
• You have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an automated production environment.
• You're proficient in efficiently operating equipment and interpreting instructions.
• Forklift operation certification and Crane operator experience, is a plus.
• You have good PC-skills.
