Vessel Manager | Offshore Vessels

OSM Thome is seeking to strengthen our offshore technical team with one (1) Vessel Manager at either our Bergen or Arendal office. If working for a highly recognised company within offshore management appeals to you, we urge you to send an application today.

As Vessel Manager, you will be responsible for and lead all aspects of technical management to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations at a best-in-class performance level.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Technical and financial management of vessels.

• Follow-up on maintenance plans and budgets, including planning of yard stay and docking.

• Ensure compliance with class and flag state requirements.

• Coordinate daily operations between vessels, management, and clients.

• Performance management of the top 4 officers onboard.

Qualifications:

• Higher education in marine technology/engineering (MSc/BSc) and relevant experience in vessel management.

• Alternatively, higher maritime education and experience as an engineer or navigational officer, or a similar position as Vessel Manager/Superintendent.

• Experience in managing various types of offshore vessels.

• Proficient in English, both written and oral.

• Good computer skills and knowledge of maintenance systems.
