We are looking for a Java Tech Lead at Euronext Securities. In this role you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing new functionalities while overseeing the production of comprehensive documentation to support the delivery of all core post-trading applications used to run Euronext Central Securities Depository (CSD). You will leverage your expertise in various network technologies to lead the system-level development of software programs, ensuring high performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development & Implementation:

  • Design and implement complex components for new functionalities.

  • Develop performance-critical subsystems to ensure system efficiency.

  • Optimize system performance and scalability through best coding practices.
     

  Technical Leadership:

  • Mentor and guide team members, ensuring adherence to best practices in software development and coding standards.

  • Lead the overall system architecture and development efforts.

  • Contribute to projects addressing challenging technical requirements.
     

• Documentation & Collaboration:

  • Produce clear and accurate documentation for implemented code and system components.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions.

  • Participate in design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
     

Your Profile:

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Java development, including experience with frameworks such as Hibernate.

  • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.

  • Experience in microservices architecture and cloud-native application development.

  • Proficiency in Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, and RESTful APIs.

  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.

  • Experience with additional programming languages such as Python is a plus.
