We are currently seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our hedging team.

About Us
The Trading Division oversees Å Energi's trading agreements and financial risk management, including managing and trading energy products in Nordic and European markets. With 90 employees across seven offices in four countries, our shared goal is to create profitable growth while advancing sustainability.

Our Production Portfolio team is dedicated to maximizing the value of our energy production through optimal physical operations of powerplants and financial hedging of future production. The team includes 28 highly skilled professionals, such as production planners, hydrologists, meteorologists, and portfolio managers.

The preferred workplace for this position is Kristiansand.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager with a strong track record who thrives on taking significant positions in the Nordic power market. The main focus of the role will be dynamic hedging of medium- and long-term power curves. You will work closely with other portfolio managers specializing in short-term curves and thermal markets, while also collaborating with experts in production planning, meteorology, market analysis, model development, and programming.

Key Responsibilities

• Take positions in the Nordic power market, focusing on medium- and long-term power curves.
• Contribute to analysis related to Nordic and thermal power markets.
• Contribute to the development of the general hedging activities

Qualifications

• A higher education degree is preferred, but extensive relevant experience may compensate for the lack of formal education.
• Comprehensive knowledge of both physical and financial power markets.
• Proven track record in trading within the Nordic power market.
