PALFINGER Marine Norway Offshore Cranes, Winches, Handling and Access Equipment group is seeking a dynamic Team Leader for our Electrical Department. You will lead a talented team of electrical engineers in Bergen and Gdynia, driving innovation in project work, new equipment development, and supporting production and testing. This role offers the opportunity to be based in either Bergen, Norway or Gdynia, Poland, where you will have a direct impact on shaping our engineering processes and outcomes.

We are looking for you—a motivated manager with a strong technical background in electrical systems. You will manage a department of skilled engineers, leading both specialists and less experienced team members. Your role will involve supporting their work and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Your Key Responsibilities

• Electrical design of various types of cranes, winches and handling solutions

• Component dimensioning, specification and selection (including ATEX/Ex rated equipment)

• Department management including guidance and follow-up of electrical engineers

• Sales support with concept preparations and evaluations

• Service support and fault tracing complex issues 

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc degree Senior Electrical Engineer, preferably with management experience for leading smaller teams

• Experience with design of electrical circuits (we work in Eplan P8)

• Experience in selection of siemens PLC and RIO component.

• Experience with dimensioning of electrical motors and drives.

• Experience with performance level calculations / SIL
