Typical work tasks can be:
- Plan and execute studies within sedimentology, reservoir quality and structural geology.
- Integrating all available subsurface data to optimize the understanding of our fields.
- Play and prospect evaluation including seismic interpretation.
- Volumetric, uncertainty and risk calculation.
- Updating and building static reservoir models.
- Well-planning and follow-up well operations and data acquisition.
- Be an engaged contributor to the Geology network.
Skills and qualifications:
- Master's degree in Geology, Geoscience or similar/relevant education.
- Experience from field development projects and/or producing assets, or experience from play and prospect evaluation on the Norwegian Continental shelf.
- Experience in well planning and execution.
- Skills in building static reservoir models and evaluating uncertainty.
- Digital knowledge including the use of AI/ML tools and databases will be an advantage.
