Experienced QHSE and Technical Safety Engineers to Bergen and Stavanger

Our customer, an international maritime company, are looking to increase their capacity in order to secure project execution and deliveries, and need skilled candidates to joint their exciting projects.

Due to additional workload for the QHSE and Technical Safety discipline, our client need to increase and strengthen their capacity and competence within QHSE Engineer and Technical Safety discipline both in Bergen and Stavanger.

QHSE and Technical Safety to Bergen and Stavanger

Deadline: asap, we evaluate incoming applicants on an ongoing basis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master degree within Technical Safety with minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Relevant experience (minimum 10 years) within Engineering can compensate for lack of higher education.

Job description/Work tasks:

• Fire and gas safety (active and passive fire protection, detection, area classification etc.)
• Shutdown philosophy
• Barrier management in relation to safety strategies and/or performance standards
• Facilitate risk assessments such as HAZID, HAZOP, Change & Constructability analysis, Design Review, Change analysis etc.
• Studies and project execution within Technical Safety
• Technical work environment
• Design reviews and specifications

Experience/ Knowledge:

• Good IT and system skills
• Various methods of risk assessments (significant part of the job)
• Preferably experience from Mobile Offshore Units, such as inspections, yard stay, e.g.
• Knowledge to relevant standards such as NORSOK S-001, NORSOK S-002, Petroleum Safety Authority Norway, Norwegian Maritime Authority e.g.
• ISO 9001 and 14001 knowledge and understanding
• Technical Safety
• Safety conscious
• Working environment
• External environment
• Drilling related experience is an advantage

Personal skills:

• Experienced and independent
• Good communication skills
• Flexible
• Good collaboration skills

Location:

• Bergen and Stavanger

Language:

• Good verbal and written communication skills, Norwegian and English as a minimum
