You are a strategic Marketing Manager that strives in a fast paced environment?
Oda is a company on the move. We built Norway’s leading online grocery store and now we want to share what we’ve created with the world! Delivering a broad assortment of high-quality, affordable groceries to thousands of doorsteps is a complex process, but we believe we’ve cracked the code. Using data-driven methodology, with a focus on sustainability all the way along the chain, we are creating the most efficient retail system in the world.
We are looking for a world class Marketing Manager in our Norway Growth team. In this role you will be leading and coordinating small and large growth activities to enable customer and revenue growth in the Norwegian market. This entails ensuring that we develop the best growth and marketing strategies possible, and at all times deliver high quality communication and creatives within given (and often short) time frames. You will work closely with content producers and growth specialists in the team, but you are also an important bridge builder between the team and our external partners and other teams in the company. You understand and know how to leverage evidence-based marketing approaches to deliver on our growth objectives, and are familiar with defining objectives for campaigns across different levels in the marketing “funnel” to deliver effect.
Being a challenger to the traditional grocery industry in Norway is tough, but we have successfully grown our business after the pandemic and are hungry for more. We are an exciting brand in a very competitive market and we have very ambitious goals. If this challenge resonates with you; are you our new Marketing Manager that will take us to the next level?
What you’ll do as Marketing Manager with us
- You apply best project management practices to develop and deliver on our growth and marketing strategies, and you help the team to perform at their best. To do so you lead our marketing work on a daily basis by setting direction, clarifying expectations and sharing clear deadlines.
- You care about effect and continuously evaluate if the team is doing the right thing to deliver proper impact. You will adjust priorities accordingly and always look for improvements or the next growth opportunities.
- You own, plan and invest our paid marketing budget in the right marketing mix for your campaigns and initiatives, and ensure timely and accurate reporting against targets with the leadership team.
- You set appropriate objectives and KPIs for campaigns and set up feedback mechanisms to monitor and evaluate campaign, channel, and creative effectiveness against customer-oriented objectives.
- In addition to enabling others, you roll-up your sleaves and contribute to market research, strategy planning, communication concepts and media plan development to reach our ambitious growth targets.
- You work with team members and other teams (content team, CRM, PR, and others) to implement campaigns and communication concepts consistently and effectively over time and across channels.
- You are obsessed about both existing customers and non-customer alike, and will take lead to develop and communicate a brand positioning that goes beyond peoples expectations to this industry.
- A big part of your job is to be a great team player. Not only in your own team, but also across functions and disciplines in Oda as well as external agencies we collaborate with. You communicate ideas, priorities, plans, outcomes and learnings in an efficient and inspiring way.
To be successful, we believe you
- Have accumulated hands-on experience within growth, marketing and branding in a B2C environment.
- Have the ability to flex between the strategic and tactical thinking, balancing short and long term priorities. You have created media plans and executed them with success many times before.
- Experience and understanding of both traditional (TV, Radio, Cinema, etc.) and online channels (Paid SoMe, programmatic display, paid search, etc.)
- Experience with modern marketing tools and technologies, e.g. Google Ads (Youtube, search, shopping, display), Facebook Ad Manager, Amplitude, Braze, Google Analytics, Data Studio and Looker
- Have a data-driven and analytical approach to addressing problems and finding solutions. Setting KPIs for campaigns is something you have done several times before.
- Are pragmatic when needed, and enjoy a dynamic everyday life where priorities and needs change.

- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills in both Norwegian and English, which is essential to build relationships across multiple teams and disciplines.
- Have hands-on execution skills; you have a structured approach to deadlines and getting stuff done.
- Are a great and enthusiastic team player with a growth mindset and the ability to help others perform at their best
- Love to develop and learn new things, and actively share this with those around you. You are not afraid of failure.
