We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Engineer with a background in power systems. This position involves significant travel and on-site service responsibilities. In this role, you will be responsible for working with customers remotely and in-field on commissioning, resolve issues and maintain uptime, servicing customer installations as needed, and communicating with Engineering to provide feedback on field issues to improve product reliability and functionality.
What You Will Do
- Travel to customer sites globally to perform service work
- Coordinate and plan service assignments and tasks
- Create and update tickets as needed to provide up-to-date status on assigned customer cases
- Download and analyze customer data for troubleshooting and monitoring purposes
- Connect to remote systems to perform diagnostics upgrades and software configurations
- Escalate and manage resolution of issues that require engineering resources as needed
- Create and maintain internal and customer-facing documentation
- Be part of the on-call duty first line support from Customer Service
- Stay up to date on skills needed for the position
- Be the company`s ambassador and ensure customer satisfaction with our products and services
- Representing Corvus Energy brand and values towards customers and partners
- Participate in creating and improving processes that allow Corvus to deliver products and services to our customers more efficiently
What You Will Bring
- Certificate of apprenticeship (mechanics, automation, electrical), or a bachelor’s degree in the field of electronics.
- Detail-oriented personality type, self-starter, structured, ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Norwegian
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills applied to electrical-mechanical and software systems
- Hands on experience installing and testing hardware and software in an industrial environment
