Our Mechanical Department in Bergen is now looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer.

What will you be doing?

• You will be joining a dedicated team of Mechanical Engineers and work on all project phases; from early study work to installation
• Develop your engineering abilities by working with highly skilled engineers
• Work in a team and have responsibility for procurement packages and follow-up of suppliers
• Coordinate multidiscipline engineering and offshore installation activities
• Develop installation methods for offshore or onshore
• Review and give input to technical documentation
• Participate in testing and installation of equipment
• You will be encouraged to contribute to the development of methodology, tools and competency within the Mechanical Department
• Execute according to and contribute to develop an industry leading project execution model
• Work together with large clients within the energy industry
• Possibility to work across segments and locations

We think you should have:

• Broad competency within equipment design and system solutions
• Experience of developing procurement packages as a Package Responsible Engineer
• In-depth knowledge of relevant Norwegian regulations and standards
• A commercial mindset and behavior
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethics and a proactive attitude
• The ability to see solutions together with meeting customer expectations and requirements
• The competency to be accurate, flexible and organized
• Solid command of Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
• Minimum 5 years of experience from the energy sector
