In Höegh Autoliners, you will be part of a global leader in deep sea Ro/Ro transportation services, with 90 years of experience in the shipping industry.
You work alongside inspiring and brilliant business leaders and colleagues to deliver high quality services to global customers.
Purpose:
The candidate will be central in establishing a new performance unit with Operations and responsible for applying new ways of collecting and analyzing data to optimize performance of the vessels.
You will respond to regular and ad-hoc requests for information, providing accurate and timely operational reporting across the organization, contributing to operational excellence through the provision of high-quality data. This role will form an important part in our work to decarbonize our operations.
Mandate:
- Responsible for establishing the performance management unit within Operations
- Responsible for designing performance data dashboards and analysis tools
- Improve performance and efficiency in the operated fleet
- Monitor, analyze and recommend measures to improve operational efficiency of the fleet
Key Role Interactions:

Main responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain reports, models and dashboards to track KPIs and measure performance
- Interpret data, identify trends and present findings to key stakeholders to guide operational decisions
- Introduce new technologies into our data management systems
- Ensure improvement of fuel efficiency for vessels operated by Höegh Autoliners
- Analyze fleet performance data and fuel saving technologies
- Emission data gathering and internal reporting
- Active involvement in digitalization projects and initiatives within Operations and technical management
Education/experience:
- Degree in Statistics, Numerical analysis or Maritime studies/Naval Architecture and/or experience within the field of ship management
- 10-15 years relevant experience
- Excellent numerical, statistical and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; the ability to convey complex analysis in a clear and engaging way
- Experience with reporting tools such as PowerBI, dashboard building and data visualization
