As we embark on our journey, we are looking for a CMO with a collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset for our headquarters centrally located in Oslo or in Stockholm (regular travel required).
CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER (CMO)
As the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for LoyaltyCo, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's customer/ member- focused strategies. This leadership position requires a proven track record in Marketing & Communications roles, with the ability to manage and direct complex communication strategies. While agency experience is advantageous, it is not essential. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating diverse stakeholder requests without compromising the overall integrity of LoyaltyCo's communications plan. The role holder will be responsible for the efficient management, control and delivery of all customer-facing communications, across all channels- from ‘traditional’ media (TVC/OOH/Radio) to all social and digital communication. A technically excellent Marketer, with significant experience, s/he will also need outstanding stakeholder management skills as management of Partner CMOs will be a critical part of the role.
Key responsibilities include:
Brand Management:
- Manage and develop brand assets and brand value
- Oversee all advertising initiatives across diverse channels, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand presence.
- Strategically manage media and social media campaigns to maximize brand exposure and engagement.
Program Management:
- Build effective CRM strategies that engage customers and drive revenues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of customer/member- focused initiatives.
Customer/Member Insight:
- Drive the analysis of customer behavior trends within the LoyaltyCo platform.
- Act on insights promptly, ensuring the platform remains agile and responsive to evolving customer/member behaviors.
Learning and Development:
- Work with specialists to develop and implement learning and development programs, ensuring all staff, including customer-facing personnel within Partner organizations, have a robust understanding of the business and are fully engaged with the LoyaltyCo platform.
Budget Management:
- Manage the budget efficiently and redirect funds as appropriate, following discussions with Partner CMOs and in alignment with LoyaltyCo Management & Board objectives.

- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the Nordics for team- and Partner meetings.
- Positive, can-do mindset, proactive and adaptable to change.
- Strong budget management skills.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary education in Marketing or related field. Preferable with an MBA.
- Demonstrable success in client-facing roles for over 10 years.
- Sound understanding of all marketing disciplines: Advertising, Media, CRM, SoMe, Digital marketing, Product/service Management, Corporate Communications.
- Familiarity with principles of effective segmentation and data-driven marketing.
- Experience of introducing new brands to the marketplace.
- Agency experience is advantageous.
