Team Manager

Dive into an exciting opportunity as our new Team Manager in our Supply Chain at Kongsberg Discovery. Join the heart of our Composite Element Production team, where we're delivering world leading underwater acoustic sensors and railing solutions for the maritime industry.

Key responsibilities

Lead the team to ensure we deliver products and production services on time. Youll be involved in the development and industrialization of both existing and new products. Success will come from communicating clear goals and objectives, a strong focus on teamwork, managing competencies and continuous improvements. We are looking for a manager who is passionate about people management and who thrives on challenges.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage a department of about 20 people including two Team Leaders reporting to you.
• Continuous improvements promote improvement culture
• Collaboration with departments involved in Horten to ensure quality delivery
• Aid in the development of competencies and technical solutions to implement and improve new or existing processes
• Focus on HSE in day-to-day delivery

Qualifications and Experience

• Higher education in logistics or management preferred, but extensive experience can compensate for the lack of formal education.
• Experience from leading a team in a production environment preferred.
• Good understanding of ERP systems
• Fluent Norwegian, both verbal and in writing
• Good in English, both verbal and in writing
• Can tackle challenges with confidence and a goal-oriented mindset
