Robotics Techician/Engineer

Solwr Robotics develops innovative robots to solve logistics challenges in the trade industry. We currently have two products in the market:

• Grab; an autonomous pick’n place robot for warehouse operations.
• Sort; a high speed, low-space pallet sorting machine. 

We are expanding and are looking for a Robotics technician/engineer to carry out and automate the following tasks together with development and delivery teams: 

• Install software, configure and calibrate new robots and their sensors/motors 
• Test new feature and help debug/improve them 
• Support customer and debug/analysis issues 
• Help implement robots at customers' site 
• Help improve our robotics solutions 

The position is based at our Ålesund office but will require some travelling to our customers sites. 

You are meant for this job if you: 

• Have a relevant technical college or a bachelor degree in Automation, Software or Robotics, or equivalent experience 
• Some Experience with software development on PC or PLC 
• Some Experience with motors, sensors and robots 
• Some Linux experience is an advantage 
• You enjoy working both with robots and customers
