Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions is looking for a Senior Technical Safety Engineer with experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Kristiansund and will be led from there.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design technical safety barriers and manage project environments compliant with PSA regulations, NORSOK S-001, and S-002 standards.
• Ensure adherence to recognized national and international safety standards.
• Oversee technical working environment in projects.
• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned.
• Supervise technical aspects of projects, including active firefighting, PFP and Instrumented Safety functions.

Skills and Levels Description:

• Senior technical safety engineer with extensive experience in the Norwegian petroleum industry.
• Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years or Bachelor's degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in written and spoken Norwegian.
• Comprehensive understanding of technical safety across various aspects.
• Skilled in assessing and designing barriers, including active firefighting, passive fire protection, F&G detection, area classification, and ignition source control.
• Capable of conducting functional safety (SIL) assessments.
• Experienced in facilitating safety reviews such as HAZID, HSE layout design reviews, and Installation HAZID (SAFEOP).
